Liner Transplant Evaluation: Stress Test
Hey all, here in Phoenix at Mayo and had my stress test today - and I’m wondering what could be a show-stopper? I’ve been getting great results, and sounds like the decision to list me is dependent on the stress test results at this time. Two worrisome findings came up: Frequent PVCs noted and intracavitary gradient/obstruction was present (54 mmHg). Both these are considered “significant” (according to Google), but both are also frequent in cases of alcoholic cirrhosis. So what insight do you have about what may result in a “deferred” or “no” decision. I’m assuming they know how to deal with this, so I might be blowing it out of proportion. I will get all test results formally delivered by the hepatologist on Friday, but your insight will be valuable, and help me to stop worrying.
Thanks all!
