Did you lose leg hair and arm hair during treatment?

Thanks for posting and asking lol, I was wondering actually after what period of time that happens ? I know that it happens because I read about that many times here but I was wondering today after what period of time on ADT it starts to happen ? My husband is on ADT for about 2 mos and he is naturally VERY furry. No changes for now.

Yep...on ADT about 13 months. Body hair is mostly gone. Head and facial hair still OK and a little left on my arms but pubic, underarm, chest, and legs bare. Good news is I don't have to trim nose or ear hair anymore. Also noticed significant decrease in how much I have to trim toe and finger nails. The joys of low testosterone.

First bout of ADT was Lupron. Lost underarm hair completely. Beard grew slower than normal but head hair grew a bit faster than it used to. (go figure)
Chest hair = slightly less. The rest of body hair = about the same.

Yes the only hair I have left is in my groin and head, all others gone. I had high dose Proton radiation and 3 shots of ADT. I noticed the same thing and my hair still grows normally on my head but if there is any other it’s very fine and light. Oh the things they don’t tell you and leaving us playing Sherlock Holmes with what the hell is going on. So till next week, same Bat time, same Bat channel.

Been there done that. Only positive note is: underarm de odorant no longer needed.

I started losing body hair years before the cancer. My testosterone levels are low -normal. I was sure it was that… I asked my PC guy about it and he just shrugged..

I had 2 years of ADT Eilgard, my last injection was given in October year. I, like most others, lost most of my body hair. However, about a moth ago I notice that the hair on my arms and legs is showing signs of growth.

I'm now five months into a two-year course of ADT (Orgovyx, abiraterone) and I'm, uh, looking forward to some hair loss. What was on my head left on its own some time ago, but elsewhere, if I were gay, I'd be a prize-winning "bear". I could definitely stand losing some or all of that, especially since I no longer live in a place where it was excellent insulation.

I was 68 years old in 2001 when prostrate cancer diagnosed and prior to any treatment I lost all body hair legs, arms, chest and pubic, except head and I ask Dr. what was going on and I got no answer prostrate was removed and and after many years only chest hair and pubic have returned. I was luckey because all cancer was contained within the prostrate and I required no other treatment. I have had a really healthy life and I will be 93 years old next month.

Was on ORGOVYX for 18 months…. All leg hair, arm hair, chest hair and underarm hair GONE. Beard and head appear okay but starting to go bald because of my age (81). Good news is I’m still here🤪. After 44 radiation treatments and that damn ORGOVYX I’m in a weak condition. Can’t walk any distance because of leg pain even after going off ORGOVYX mid April. Hot flashes are less and less so that’s good. So all that being said the good news is we have less hair but we are still here and squeezing in as much fun as possible. Make the best of everyday.
