Late Effects Neck Fibrosis

Has anybody tried the following regime:
PENTOX Protocol: A combination of pentoxifylline and Vitamin E ? My concern even though my doctor said it would be okay, but will closely monitor side effects. I have to take medication through feeding tube and Pentoxifylline is extended release medication. They said have had patients in same situation that tolerate fine. What has been anybody experience?

How does this actually work? Does it slow down the process of neck fibrosis? Does it improve or diminish the fibrosis?

@omaest It reduces inflammation and helps blood flow to the fibrotic area and the vitamin axis used as a antioxidant. The combination has shown signs of improving neck fibrosis. This is what my Cancer Survivor doctor suggested to me, so I was trying to see if anybody has used this combination.

Thank you. I take all medications and nutrition through a tube so I don't know if it would work for me. It is something that I will ask about the next time I go to my "survivorship appointment". My radiation was in 2003 and the fibrosis has been very gradual but now is effecting me more.
