I had cervical vertigo for 15 years. I have facet issues in the neck. With a nerve block at C23 took away all my dizziness and nausea. Hallelujah!
Valium was the only thing that allowed me to simply walk

Maybe I will ask my dr. I do have There is severe disc degenerative changes at C5-C6, C6-C7 and C7-T1. There is severe neuroforaminal encroachment bilaterally at C5-C6 and C7-T1 secondary to uncovertebral hypertrophy and facet arthropathic changes.

Definitely ask your doctor. After almost 20 years of pain, I have found you must push the doctors to ideas and diagnostic attempts. I asked a doctor 5 years prior to diagnosis possible facet syndrome and he gave me, no that's not it, bologna!

It is a shame we have to be our on advocates! If y sister hadn’t looked at my test I wouldn’t know about a heart condition so now I eat heart healthy

Most of us really have pitiful healthcare.
I’m all for “advocating” for yourself, but sometimes you are just too sick.

I have had vertigo for 40+ years. I have to be very careful how I maneuver my head. It put me in the bed for 3 days once. I take meclizine daily. I once had a doctor explain that the tube in the ears weren't straight. They were like a very relaxed v and fluid pooled in the bottom of the v instead of draining. The sinuses and ear drainage are all connected. Tubes in the ears usually give relief needed. It doesn't take much to set off an episode. I can't open my eyes when going through a car wash. You might want to take note that I now have very bad tinnitus some days. It really is horrible. It's worse than a hangover. It's really bad when you have it so severe you puke.
