Kidney removed and now there are nodules on my adrenal gland-anyone?

Stage 3 cancer with removal of the kidney. A year of Keytruda and another drug as part of a clinical trial. The adrenal gland was not removed. Nodules were present and now 2 years later one has grown and cancer is suspected. Trying to figure out a course of action. Anyone have any experience?

My son’s stage 3 kidney cancer was done this past January and his adrenal gland was removed during that surgery. His surgeon said “ when in doubt cut it out”. Hope this helps and much success with this.

@agadeb, any update? Were the nodules cancerous? What treatment is recommended?

Appears radiation is the course of treatment recommended.
