Just started Qulipta-any experiences to share?
I have been feeling pretty awful with migraine, cervicogenic headaches and fatigue from those issues & breast cancer drugs. Was taking Nurtec with not great results but now been switched to Qulipta. I hate adding another daily drug to my already beat-up body (I am 71) Also this is all making me anxious & they want to give me another pill for that! Looking for some advice as to how to fight the fatigue and other side effects & wondering if the drugs are worth it. So far I’m not any better. On day 5 of 30 mg Qulipta. On Nebebolol beta blocker, Ibrance & Exemestane for cancer & a blood thinner. Thanks for any thoughts.

Botox near your eyes = it's botulism!
Just had another molar extracted and now an eye on the upper right hand side is causing problems and I think tomorrow morning we’re extracting that one. I’m losing all of my teeth. I’m telling you the pain from the qulipta was ungodly every tooth in my head just charted to have major nerve pain. I’m begging people out there do not take this. I am losing all of my teeth because of this medication, please for the love of God if you want to keep your teeth do not take this medication

3 ReactionsObenice, I’m so sorry you’re going thru teeth extractions.
I was prescribed Qulipta but the copayment was $400.00 so I refused to take it.
Are they sure the Qulipta caused the tooth damage?
If you went through radiation treatments that would more likely be the cause.
I use a prescription toothpaste along with Sensodyne toothpaste 3-4 X per day. I also see my dentist twice a year and get fluoride treatments each visit. My insurance covers one fluoride per year and I pay $45.00 for the second one.
My wisdom teeth and a few questionable molars were extracted prior to starting chemo and radiation treatments. I have had a couple teeth chipped and repaired but so far my teeth are hanging in there and I’m nearing my 9 year post stage IV treatment.
Wishing you well
Jody

2 ReactionsEverybody thank you for your responses no, I’ve never had radiation. I am an avid person to do my dental cleanings and my flossing. I’ve taken care of my teeth my entire life two months after being put on Q live I had hives all over my body. they were oblong bright red lifted off the skin at least an inch long. My doctor caught me from 60 mg to 30 mg and told me to take Benadryl and continued me on this medicine for another four months during that four months my teeth started hurting something awful. I made the sensitivity was throughout every tooth in my mouth. I finally just said Doc I’m not taking it. I have to go off. I can’t even eat now. It was definitely from the qulipta but of course you know big Pharma they’re never gonna take responsibility I am just so grateful that we have a forum where we can speak to each other and warn each other or support each other. And not to mention $2600 for 30 pills who in their right mind can pay for that money on a regular income. This pharmaceutical company is nuts to think that anybody can pay that amount. But we had to do what we had to do when you’ve got brain inflammation and constant migraines. I finally told my Doctor Who is doing the Botox and the nerve blocks. Hey, let’s just do the Botox, but can we put it directly on my forehead over the optical nerves, and then in the crown of my head and it works fantastic. Doing it this way no more nerve blocks no more oral tablets just for Botox right over the two receptacle nerves in the center of my forehead and the crown of my head so if anyone has migraines like I do, I wish you the best of luck doing it this way God bless you all
