Just found out I’m stage three 3b colon cancer
MRI was done two weeks after a 4.0 x 3.6 x 0.6 was removed through rectum , it was just a partial part of the tumor,
My question is what are the odds that my 5 lymph nodes that are 12 mm ,were affected by surgery and staples from surgery
I know I have to wait for pet scan but the waiting is killing me from the inside .
Emvi was negative so was crm
Tumor is t 3 (3 mm)

I completed 8 cycles folfox and 29 chemo radiation tx.
Had surgery 3/27 permanent ostomy.
Ive adjusted well and first 3 month follow up next week.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to guess what your scans will show or what that will mean for your treatments.
I can’t tell you how many scans I’ve had since 2021. It doesn’t get easier waiting for the results each time. “Scanxiety” is a real thing in our community. I had my latest scans yesterday and will see my oncologist next week to discuss the results.
