Jogging, Breathing and Bronchiectasis
I would like to start jogging again since my bronchiectasis is under control. I've been walking regularly, but I always enjoyed jogging because of its higher aerobic benefits. When I jog though, my mouth is open to get more air into my system which is a normal for runners. My logic tells me that by doing this, I'm breathing in more of the harmful stuff in the air that started my pseudomonas infection. Wearing a mask is difficult while exercising, so I'm wondering if jogging is worth the risk and should I just scrap the idea.
