Itchiness After Immunotherapy

Posted by treeman1942 @treeman1942, May 28, 2024

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer about four months ago at the Rochester Mayo Clinic. I've now had my second amino therapy treatment and have been experiencing extreme itchiness. I'll be calling my doctor today in the hope they will issue a prescription for this, however, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they solved it.

Started nivo at home. So far so good. Basically identical to in-clinic except for no advanced pump beeping.

Finished. No significant side effects so far. Little back ache.

So sorry to hear that you had to stop your immunotherapy. I also had bladder cancer, aggressive high-grade pure squamous cell carcinoma. I had to have my bladder removed and now I am on immunotherapy for a year to stop any new cancer sells from forming. I found out November 2024 that I had cancer, I had 4 tumors but one was muscle invasive. I have never smoked and rarely drink alcohol so this was a surprise. Thank you for your suggestion, I will look for it on Amazon.

Another cause of that cancer is excessively high amounts of fumes from chemicals. I was a hairdresser for 37 years and specialized in color there amongst the top five where are you in a profession where you had high amount of chemical fumes?

Cancer Commons shared this with me today. Early morning immunotherapy is the best, especially for women.
