Is there a cure for neuropathy?

Posted by hansdeboer @hansdeboer, 14 hours ago

I have symptoms of neuropathy for over 3 years in my ankles and both knees after knee replacement surgery on both knees, a year apart. I am 86 years old. (Male).
Is there a full or partial cure?
I have also been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis six or so years ago.
No surgery was done for that because of heart weakness.

Welcome @hansdeboer, There is no cure for neuropathy but there are a lot of different treatment, including complementary and alternative treatments that may provide some relief. There's more information on the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy's website - https://www.foundationforpn.org/treatments/.

I have idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy but just have numbness and some tingling so do not take any pain medications for the neuropathy (they don't help numbness). Do you have pain with your neuropathy?

No, there is no cure. The best you can do is try to minimize the pain.
