Is the deferral acceptance by board again or team leader?

I was accepted by the medical team but with a caveat deferral that the board wanted a year care plan by my care plan people. After written compliance does the plan of compliance have to go to the board again or does the team leader make the decision of compliance?

@jameshoffman, I was inactivated from the active UNOS wait list for a liver transplant when my team suspected bileduct cancer from repeat lab results. I received a verbal message from transplant team that was followed up a week later with an official letter from UNOS telling me of the update. Then after I was cleared from a cancer diagnosis, I was told that I would be reinstated, along with a follow-up letter from UNOS. My time for being inactivated was probably around 6 weeks. I'm sorry that I don't remember the exact steps that might have been involved. However, since all transplant decisions are made by a team, I don't think it would/coold be made by an individual. My transplant team took care of everything.

James, When will your year of compliance be completed? Has your transplant team kept in contact and monitored your pre-transplant conditon? Why don't you ask the nurse coordinator or doctor how this play out for you and whether you will need more evaluation after a year's time?
