Many symptoms still 2 months after meningioma surgery
I am still having pain since my surgery. I was not told anything about this surgery as far as what to expect. My face is sinking in and the middle of my head is numb. I feel so alone. The doc refuses to give melanin meds and I've been to the ER at least 5 times since the surgery and have also been admitted back in the hospital because of an infection and fever. I am nauseated daily and have difficulties eating

@randallshields56 , thank you, you are very sweet. I don’t mind messaging back and forth but would prefer text if that is okay with you. I should but don’t always check my emails and at times go through so fast I skip over a lot.
Here is my phone #you are uncomfortable with text I understand. Well I tried to send my number and it’s not aloud. Let’s see if we can connect on F B. I am Diana Hanna Juravlea. Let’s see if this goes through

Its taken me two year's and in March 3 year's and just this month have really improved in many areas. Ask what you want to work on first and second, ill let you know what helped me most.

Good that you will see a new neurologist very soon. Because it’s known what parts of the brain were affected in the surgery, they may be able to determine the surgical side effects versus anything else.
Again, best wishes to you in your recovery

1 ReactionThank you, went to Neuro today. She confirmed a lot of these can be happening because of what they removed from my brain. There was a good portion of the temporal lobe that was removed. She wants to test the nerves in my legs at next visit to see if there is a problem. If not then we know where it’s coming from. Oh well, it is what it is, my journey that God is leading me through. I am Blessed to be here, so whatever deficiency I am getting, is mine, it all becomes a part the new me. I will mourn the loss of who I was and embrace a stronger better version of the me now. I am in the learning stages- it’s all good. Have a Blessed Day…
