Is it common to have palpitations every day after a PFA procedure?
I had a PFA procedure 5 weeks ago and a cardio version 3 weeks ago. Was told I had a 50/50 chance of success due to "too much scarring". Two days ago I was told by the pacer clinic that I am now in sinus rhythm. However, I am now having palpitations that last many minutes every day and are very uncomfortable. Can my pacemaker be causing these palpitations? Has anyone gone through this? Please advise. Thank you

I can't answer your question because I have no data or graphic depiction of your ECG, especially one running for at least 24 hours such as when you wear a Holter monitor. Your palpitations could be PACs, AF, or SVT, even PVCs.
You were told that your chances of a successful intervention via ablation were only 50/50. That's only modestly low odds....in my opinion. I understand that your atrium and ventricle might have a lot of fibrosis (scarring), and that means a lot of collagen deposition. This tends to stiffen the substrate of any vessel that has it. It can bring on arrhythmia.
It is always plausible and possible that one's pacemaker needs adjustment, but that must be determined formally in a clinical setting by qualified personnel.
