Is anyone having problems with Pari nebulizers and Tobramycin?

While Pari compressor and Pari LC plus cups are recommended for Tobraycin use (aliments like cystic fibrosis or colonized pseudomonas), I find frequent problems with getting the full dose. Two mL and often more of the medication is left after 30-40 or even 50 minutes of treatment; residue is ofter foamy. I follow the manufacturer's guidelines on cleaning the cups, have a new compressor and tubing and filter.

I remember calling the company because I was having similar issues with the Pari Sprint and saline solution. This is going back many years in my memory banks...but if my memory serves me, I think they suggested a soak in vinegar. They also said the Sprint was more prone to clogging rather than the LC Plus. Try the soak, then if it doesn't work, call the company. When I nebulized Tobramycin, I believe that I spent about 15 minutes with the Pari LC plus.

I was on inhaled Tobi in January. I used a new Pari LC cup and new wing tip tubing. I had no problems with inhaling the entire dose and no problems with foaming. I am using a Ombra compressor.
