All of us posting here and on afibbers.org have an electrically disordered heart, Patti. Sorry to see you have to join us, but since you are here, welcome, and we'll see what we can do to help you get over your anxiety. Again, anxiety, fear, consternation, dismay, loss of sleep, loss of calm, stressed relationships....we all have some or all of that. It is the mystery of what lies ahead for me that we all have to deal with.
It sounds like the experts have the arrhythmia nearly pegged, but a Holter for maybe a whole week, now that you seem to be experiencing a return of the symptoms, might be in order, or you'll have to go to the ER to get a 12-lead done on you while you are symptomatic. Been there, done that, more times than I care to remind myself of.
How is your diet? Is there a chance at all that you are deficient in magnesium? It is widely accepted that we in the modern western world eat produce that is deficient of magnesium due to over-use of land and a failure to replenish or to rotate crops. If your physician can run an RBC Mg test for you, it might reveal that your are sufficiently low that your heart is acting up. Or, it really could be a growing intolerance to alcohol, or to any other stressor you encounter these days with any frequency. Maybe you have fibrosis and collagen deposition in your myocardium like so many of us as we age, and this can cause arrhythmia. Or, your SA node is diseased. You may be harbouring and fighting a pathogen that has hitherto been asymptomatic for you except for the heart. How about CRP (C-reactive protein)? Maybe you have chronic inflammation that is setting you off.

I am not a physician, and don't have any health care training. I'm just running possibilities at you. You might need a referral before long to a really great electrophysiologist for at least an initial consult and to get introduced. If you need to get an ablation in short order, it would be good to have shaken hands with a good EP.

Thank you so much for the reply,i will be taking in everything you said.... i was fighting an odd but mild Gi bug in January and went thru every test, scan , lab and stool panel normal..so i wonder now. if connected???iIdo have iron deficiency anemia since 2019 but lately January labs stellor H and H perfect Ferritin ever so very sl low and i have been much much worse before.I have a Hiatal hernia and really wondered about vagal nerve issues with that,,,,brain storming as iam sure everyone here does, all the time ...I had a cluster of 3 family deaths in 3 weeks Novemeber which effected me terribly, and just kind of sunk me, a normally super upbeat person who wants to take care of everyone, i could hardly get thru the holidays,,,I have read about Broken heart syndrome also,,,,,one step at a time i guess ,again thank you for the feedback I dont feel as alone in this battle, Patty

Butlergirl - Good that you have cut your coffee intake down, but even 1/4 cup of coffee ice cream makes my heart beat nuts! When I was in my teens, I was a waitress and drank 4-5 cups coffee and severe heart rhythm problems. BUT, in decreasing the quantity, I discovered that 1/2 cup affected me the same as 4 cups. I had to quit all.

This morning my HR was 127 BPM
M blood pressure was 105/51 I had just walked downstairs to get my medicine at 5:00 a m I have a mechanical heart aortic valve I have an untreated L1 fracture of the vertebrae and AKI ( acute kidney injury. Just had the norovirus which caused me in a hospital by with IV drips of antibiotics and fluids. Would either of these issues or combined together cause this ? I also have a narrow esophagus that will be stretched so I can swallow without aspiration, breathing difficulties and the initial talk while sentences

I LOVE coffee ice cream also, with big pieces of chocolate in it. Thank God it is not available where I live now. I did not like giving it up, but better than heart jumping around like a pogo stick!

I would guess you are quite weak right now. So expect your HR to jump up when stressing it. I am assuming you are in normal sinus rhythm? If it comes down quickly after sitting down then that would be good. Why is your L1 fracture untreated? Is is a wedge fx of the vertebrae body from osteoporosis?
