Internal scarring
I had a facelift 2 years ago and I have been in discomfort from the get-go. I believe I have thick internal scarring. Has anyone heard of that?

Good evening @robinnyfl, welcome to Connect. We are glad you stopped by and are interested in your question. I think there is a relationship to deep scar tissue which I am dealing with right now. And I have had a facelift. So let's see how we can connect.
My scar tissue is from the surgical removal of a tumor on my sternum. The scar tissue on the incision was actually pulling the tissue from my shoulders to have more for the incision. That's how my body responded. Here is a link to a discussion I opened yesterday in the Joint Replacement group.

Did you have issues with the incisions from your facelift? I had one incision that didn't close right so the surgeon just restitched it. You mention having discomfort from the get-go. When you mentioned that to the surgeon did he have any suggestions? Where was the discomfort.....neck? eyes? lips?
For me, the facelift was one of the best decisions that I have made. I had a hard time making it happen because I am not a fan of any surgery....like who chooses surgery? They also wanted to make sure I wouldn't have keloid formations and that everything else in my body was all set for healing.
What are you using at this time for coping with the discomfort? What can I do to help you?
May you have happiness and the causes of happiness.
Chris
