Inspiration- guy with chronic spine issue buys boat, sails to hawaii

Gotta share a great story. Long Covid led me to the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago for speech pathology. I helped me organize my thoughts and communicate. They said I’ll never be the pre-Covid version of myself, brain is screwy, and I have to adapt and find ways to become who I want to be. It takes a ton of work, like relearning guitar. Hard but good advice to receive. Here’s a story of a guy with a chronic spine issue who decide to learn how to sail via YouTube, sold everything to buy a sailboat, and went from Oregon to Hawaii with his rescue cat. Cool to see someone whose is changed by an illness and finds different ways to experience life.
