Inactive bladder, with no elasticity

Posted by jdbjsmith @jdbjsmith, Oct 29, 2023

My bladder is totally stretched out with no elasticity left in it. Has anyone had the same diagnosis? Has anyone had the transurethral resection of the prostate and has it helped in any way?

So no one out there has had a HolEP Procedure? I was hopeful I could find out if it helped.

My husband has the same issue. After a UTI/sepsis, he is now self-cathetarizing. Although there is a possibility of infection, the urologist gave us antibiotics just in case. The self-cateterization is simple for him and he is having no issues whatsoever. He "drains the radiator" twice a day, wears depends at night and feels so much better in general. He had a "urolift" prostate procedure a few years ago, which helped for a long time. We get the catheters in the mail and the insurance pays for them. He uses the Cure brand, which is self-lubricating.
