Important information about statins that I’m going to ask my doc about

Posted by Barb @amberpep, Aug 10, 2020

Just a bit of information I discovered last week. One of the side effects of taking "simvistatin" is temporary memory loss. It is the only statin that has this effect. I am going to talk to my .doctor about stopping it, with his guidance of course. I have had some short lapses in memory .... forgetting part of my phone number, etc.

Thanks, @lioness. I had not heard about the bagel mix before. It sounds great. I'll look for that next time I'm in the store.

U Betcha !!! ... so far , the advice of the Mayo Clinic to consume Sourdough Bread is like a God-send , especially when my PCP has told me NOT to do any white bread !!! ... I've even found a new favorite bagel , sourdough bagels ... with a little cream cheese , it's far better than white bread toast with butter !!!

Are you taking coq10 for memory loss or to help lower your cholesterol?
