Immune system: Living with stage 4 and dealing with lung infections

Hello, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer Oct 2017, I’ve been on a daily chemo clinical trial since Nov 2017
Since then, I occasionally get upper respiratory infections (I also have asthma) My question is do I have to go on antibiotics every time I get a respiratory infection?

Hi @jmac8717, I'd like to understand your question better. Do you have lung mets? What causes the upper respiratory infections?
