I'm needing help with Behcet's and RA leg issues.

I'm needing help with severe pain from my groin down to my feet. I can press on my legs and feel painful lumps under skin in thigh area. My calf muscle is constantly swollen and painful like I have pulled muscles in both legs. Shins on both legs are always painful as well. I did go to the ER to check for DVT about a year ago and ultrasound was negative. The ER couldn't tell me why the right leg was so much bigger than the left. I've been diagnosed with Behcet's and RA and currently on Enbel and its not helping with the leg issues. I did see the vein clinic and they didn't see a problem. Can anyone please help with this?

@jenniferlynn Welcome to MayoClinicConnect! I’m glad that you found us. Members will probably be along later in the say or once weekend is over. Mayo Connect is for people to share their experiences and tips, but we cannot diagnose a problem. If they had the same problem as you, then they can certainly help.
What has your doctor said about the swelling and pain in your legs?

I'm not looking to be diagnosed just maybe someone who has or had similar issues. I live in a very rural area in NC and the healthcare here is not very up to date in my experience so far. My rheumatologist just starts me on prednisone everytime I mention the leg issues and says its probably the arthritis or Behcet's. I'm not even 50 and have a terrible time walking.

Hi
I would go somewhere and get properly diagnosed. There are lots of symptoms of Behects including joint pain, mouth or genital ulcers, eye inflammation etc etc
