I'm desperate. Where can you recommend help for LC patient?
Can anyone recommend a clinic or doctor to help with LC? Mayo is out and the U of M only accepts referrals from in house which leave me out. I would prefer Hennepin County but will go wherever. Thank you

There is a Long Covid Clinic through the infectious disease department at University of Wisconsin, Madison. I can’t tell you much about it. I have my first appointment in July
Yes! Dr. Bruce Patterson and his diagnostics company, Incell Dx, is excellent for diagnosis and treatment. He was head of virology at Stanford med school, and is now having great success with diagnosis and treatment. Read up on him and I think you’ll agree. Best wishes
PS. Incell sends you a blood test kit ($1000), you get the blood test locally, send it out, Incell does the diagnosis, and Incell then advises your physician about your diagnosis and course of treatment.
Dr. Patterson believes that the root cause of LC is inflammation of the epithelial cells (lining of vascular system) and says two meds (Lipitor and Maraviroc) working together result in significant improvement in 6 to 12 weeks.
So, would you say you are satisfied with Dr. Patterson and his team? I am seriously considering starting with him. How long before you got your results back? I have had Long Covid (at least I am assuming that is it since I have never been diagnosed) for over 5 years and can't walk without a walker and then very minimally.
I’m getting my blood test on Monday (June 9). Incell Dx sends back results in about ten days (if I remember correctly.). So far, the, I’m very satisfied with Dr. P, but I’ll have to wait and see if I have LC and, if so, whether his treatment helps. I’m already take Lipitor daily. My symptoms are moderate, possibly because I’m taking Lipitor, one of the two meds that Dr. Patterson has found to help LC patients (the other being Marcie’s.)
correction . . . “the other being Maraviroc.”
This is a study of reports of treatment outcomes in 3925 patients.

Maraviroc is one of the treatments reported to be successful, based on 58 patient reports.
Stuart, Can you please tell us what exactly the $1,000. tests are checking for? What blood tests are listed? Thanks. It seems like a lot of money.
Yes! They are checking 19 “bio-markers.” These are chemicals in the blood, I think. One example is Interluken-2, if I remember correctly. ( They often refer to this marker as Il-2, as I remember. )
The problem for the doctors doing the diagnosis is to decide whether you have LC or other diseases, such as Epstein-Barr, Lyme’s, ME/CFS, etc., that have similar symptoms. Each of these diseases has a different bio-marker profile, as I understand it. They put the bio-marker measurements on a graph just like we did in high school math class! 👨🏫
Remember? Of course you do!!!
If you listen to all the interviews and lectures given by Dr. Pattern, you will understand all of this much better, but that requires and lot of time and concentration. It’s worth it!!!
The $1000 is well worth it too. That’s a small price for regaining your life if the treatment works for you. I’d pay five times that amount - easily!
