My friend waited until he felt ready to do the second eye. I think waiting is okay as long as you can see and the doctor says it's okay.
I don't need glasses at all not for reading or driving and don't have any problem with my vision but my doctor ophthalmologist says I have cataract and need surgery.
Isn't that strange, would you trust him?

thanks for your response.
Are you getting computer assisted or having a completely manual surgery? Are you getting the advanced lens- guess not -because you don't wear glasses? Cataracts can grow and might be harder to remove. I'd get a second opinion at another office if I felt uneasy. Best to have a corneal surgeon to remove a cataract. I had mine removed early because I have intermediate dry AMD. If my condition should go to wet AMD I may not be able to have the surgery. My driving clarity improved. I paid 3,000 for the computer assisted because I felt it would be more precise. I heard later maybe the strong light used in computer assisted may not have been good for AMD. However, my retina doctor was impressed. It was left up to me to decide whether to remove them early- no pressure.
