I keep having Blackouts or fainting spells
For the past 3 years, I have had symptoms of what feels like dizziness, nauseous, fast heart beats, then I black out. This has happened 3 times now, each time, I go and test are ran on my heart, CT scan, blood test and nothing is found. I am 62, no history of any diseases, high blood pressure occasionally, or sporadically, thyroid removed, high cholesterol. Any thoughts on why this keeps

welcome to the group and i know this may or may not help, had similar issues but not treated or looked at because they passed, I'm just turned 69 and a TBI survivor. brain injury survivor. my case the symptoms changed and i just didn't put two and two together . it just changed symptoms on me till one day years later it dropped me in my tracks. your symptoms could mean something completely different and who knows, but i would pay a little more attention to your body and mindset telling you things, get a second opinion when you notice things or same stuff, mine ended up being a tumor in the brain, just took its sweet time getting big enough to knock me down. Hope you find your answers. ill send a prayer out you're way.

1 ReactionI had similar symptoms and mine turned out out to be neurally mediated syncope, just a fancy new name for vasovagal syncope. Yours sounds more like POTS. Investigate POTS and see if that is not a match for you.
Does it happen when you stand up too quickly? Or when you're already up and moving about
@cherawgirl thank you for the post, was interesting reading and a place to look. unfortunately mine took on another angle and caused me two operations and a longer recovery method with exercises in case i ad to get more chemo treatments. there were a few similar steps but cancer of the lung and brain. the tumor they removed was massive in size. but god i am still a fighter and survivor. hopefully you are recovering well and able to enjoy live again.

1 ReactionI had the same problems that u have stated about yourself. Mine started after I had my 2nd babu and lasted until my 40'S. Only things changed differently. Found out in my late 60 I had antiphosphid lipid syndrome. It was verified by Loyola Hospital with genetic testing. My heart goes out to u. God bless.
