I have shingles and am astounded at how painful it is. Anyone else?

I’ve had shingles for two and a half weeks. The spots/blisters/scabs are bad enough but the stomach discomfort is next level. My stomach is swollen on the left side and extremely tender to the touch. I would love to know if this is a common experience and a short-lived condition?

@suzanhurlbut ...I used the pills of acid lipoic acid 600mg...please make sure by checking that item doesn't interfere with other medications you take ....you can ask your doctor or pharmacist for any interactions that it can cause...it helped me a lot and my doctor recommended it ...I used the brand Sundown but I imagine other brands may be just as good 😊 I wish you a good day
