Numbness/tingling side of face, both arms & legs, vertigo. Cause?
5 months ago I had numbness/tingling left side of my face, both arms and legs which kept changing location sometimes. same time I started to have vertigo which lasted for two months. The symptoms disappeared for a month and came back again now exactly the same.
I have had brain MRI and CT scans, a neck MRI which said (c5/c6 left para central disc bulging cause mild narrowing of the left neural foraminal with impingement on the exiting nerve.)
Doctors said this usually can affect the arms not both legs and head.
I did a lot of autoimmune blood tests and other tests which all came normal.
I want help with suggestions or possible causes/checks to search that can help me.

hi, Mika889. " . . . injury at the C5-C6 levels can cause paralysis, pain, weakness, and weakness in the arms or legs." https://discseel.com/c5-c6-disc-herniation/
20 doctors and you're not giving up. Cheers.
You might see a chiropractor for a manual exam. I'd guess you'd experience relief from a chiropractic adjustment.
While your disc bulge sounds small, they are smaller when we are supine under the MRI. It would be larger when standing.
Sometimes these bulges can retract. PT would be helpful toward that aim.
Sometimes these bulges herniate and become more painful.
You could have a steroid injection to reduce any swelling contributing to the narrowing in the left foraminal impingement.
My experience with vertigo and ensuing nausea from nerve impingement in the foraminal neck is completely and immediately resolved with chiropractic adjustment. i repeat the adjustment as needed and use PT to maintain those adjustments.
I hope you have some luck.

1 ReactionIn my humble opinion we should not have to hunt down answers to our problems. Yet we have to - getting hard to find decent doctors that pursue a problem when it arises. Of course, I'm assuming your physician has not yet come up with helpful answers.
