@george1227 - The glare was really bothering me driving at night which was one of the main reasons I had cataract surgery last year. You might want to post any questions you have in another active discussion here where you can also learn what other members have shared about cataract surgery.

I have really, really bad floaters in eyes worse in one than the other. They make me very nervous trying to avoid them. Does anyone have any suggestions on natural remedies? I started taking Taurine as I heard that can help and also taking bilberry. I want to avoid a vitrectomy if I can.

I was moderately myopic with minor astigmatism. I had significant floaters in each eye. Then, I had cataract surgery in left eye 2019 and the floaters in that eye got much worse. I tried lysine, bilberry, turmeric and Icaps for a 3-month period with no results. My ophthalmologists and optometrist scoffed at me for even trying this. I had not heard of Taurine.
So, I had largely successful, FOV in Dec. 2020. I say, “largely successful”, because my eye had been much better for this past year since the surgery then then I got a couple new, more significant floaters in January.
