Agree! Call your physician as soon as you possibly can!

Shunts can get clogged up and stop working resulting in increased intracranial pressure. This may or may not show up on a CT and may require a lumbar puncture to measure the pressure. It’s essential to see your physician ASAP to assess the situation. I hope this has already been done. Other signs of increased intracranial, pressure are visual disturbances, nausea and vomiting. I hope the cause of your headaches is something else, simpler to treat.

I also have a shunt due to hydrocephalus and a few months ago, I had trouble walking. Same problem that started the whole thing. I knew something was wrong with my shunt. Went to doctor who sent me to ER (big mistake) where I collapsed. Woke up in hospital bed. Third day I was there, the doctor arrived to re-set my shunt. Will never use that doctor again. Thankfully, Medicare paid for everything. Probably due to the fact that I passed out in the ER.

that would be scarey, so far i havent passed out but had some pretty intense falls, since they readjusted my shunt my headaches are gone, sometimes a little bit if i exert myself. how long have you had hydrosephalus, i am fairly new only 3 years but shunt keeps getting adjusted seems like every 6 months
