Thanks for the followup. So if I may clarify, even though you have numbness up to your knees, you can still get the sensations from the Walkasins?
The reason I ask is that my neurologist felt that since the bands attach just above the ankle, and my numbness goes up to my knees, the impulses would not move up my legs.
He was not trying to discourage me from trying it if I wanted to and he completed a prescription for me. He was just concerned that I would end up returning them and losing the money on the sole inserts.
Where did you test them? When I talked to a representative about 2 years ago she told me that I would need to find a physical therapist that was willing to go through a demonstration on how to use them so they could work with me. My therapist at the time said she was interested in doing it.
I chickened out but have always wondered if I should have tried them.
Sorry for all the questions but I am stuck using a walker or crutches now because I am just a little to wobbly. 😐

I am curious how high up your leg you experience numbness?
My numbness is from my feet to my knees. My neurologist told me that the walkasins probably wouldn't be an option for me.
Curious if your situation is similar.
Thanks! I'm glad that you found some success!
@ohkay2 Hello,
Mine is constantly getting worse and has gone as far as my knees , i can remember only my ankles maybe a year ago.

That is awesome for you!!! Was it tough getting BCBS to cover it?
I have Aetna. Everything's an issue with them.
What a great gift.
