I had 2 rad of scheduled 35 + 7 scheduled chemo in April

I am 82. I got very sick after 2 rad. Could not walk, pain, threw up 2 days and left Md Anderson. Been on holistic going back and forth with supplements and meds with some only available there. Different treatments and 2 separate Dendredic blood treatments. Pet scan in beginning was SUV of throat tumor (visible) 22, and 2 lymph nodes with each 10.
July 27 Pet scan was tumor 10 and lymph’s each 5. Next scheduled Dec. I am having some bleeding issues at night from tumor with mucus. I feel pretty good and eating good and very little throat pain. Very confused of what to do now as I do not want to do Rad and not reading good things on chemo. I just get tired but may be age. Considering going somewhere in states. Have talked with 2 cancer docs and both said get full blown Rad and chemo 35-7.

I had them both at the same time. What chemo r u getting? I never vomited I was on 2 antiemetics. I had no mouth sores. I did have a sore throat weeks 6&7. I was very tired and a year later I still have some weeks of being very tired. I honestly didnt find the treatment bad at all. Do u have someone to help u at home. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t a good time. My tumor was on my vocal cord so I did have a tracheostomy, I did lose my voice for about a month during treatment due to swelling
