I can't tell if my ear problems are severe or if I'm crazy.

I am 14, and since July-ish, every month or so, sometimes half a month, I would have a week of severe ear pains, swelling, drainage, pus and the like. At the time---until last month, I thought it was nothing but took ear drops, unperscriped, just regular ear drops. But it kept happening on time, and my joke would be that it took over my period, as I was an early bloomer, lol. But starting September, the ear pain has been presistantly present althrought my day, drainage, pains, fatiuge, tenderness in my ear and etc. I took tylenol and acetaminophen regularly, about once or twice a day. It would help, but more temporarily if anything. I got seen by a doctor around half a month in, and I got perscribed medicine for ohterrea. I take the medicine twice a day, and I have been persistently as told to. At first, the pain soothened, but then it got worse again, more severe drainage, way too much pus I could almost hear nothing in my ear. I got seen again and the doctor told me to continue taking my medicine, and see a walk-in center in 48 hours if pain persisted---which it did but I haven't been able to see anyone since. Now, for the past few days, the pain has persisted, and now there are miniature rashes around my face. One on the opposite cheek of the ear infection, and the around of my ear is just itchy in general and my scalp has been as well. I can't see a professional until November 12th and I don't know what to do or if I'm just overreacting. If anyone has any thoughts or like, anything at all it would be so, so appreciated! :,)

I know lots about ear pain and problems this sounds like an infection in your Eustachian tube. I would suggest contacting a good ENT be evaluated. I found laying on a heating pad would lesson my pain at times keep it on low with a thin cloth to prevent burns.

Give it a try but really see an ENT for better treatment for your ear.
