I have long Covid with insomnia after I had Covid a few years ago. I tried everything to sleep: Medical marijuana, Ambien, gummies, eating, environmental and exercise changes and my weight is normal. Still couldn’t sleep. I came upon sleep meditations by Jason Stephenson on YouTube. When I’m ready to sleep I put it on and I am asleep fairly quickly. On the rare occasion that I don’t fall right to sleep, I just play it again. If I wake up in the night, I don’t toss and turn, I just play it again and go right back to sleep. NOTE: I only do the three hour meditations. It is about 30 minutes of guided spoken meditation followed by 2 1/2 hours of continuing sleep music. ( If you do a shorter one a blaring advertisement comes on that will wake you back up.) I am sleeping now and, according to my Fitbit, my sleeping quality has vastly improved. I feel so much better. Insomnia had become a BIG problem. I was so excited when this worked. It’s free and it’s not a drug, although I was at the point of being willing to take any drug just to sleep. This really works. Give it a few tries before giving up.
