@mamamusic I believe Bio Freeze is a topical over the counter (OTC) product more for muscle & joint aches and pains. It is not meant for skin irritation such as itching. In fact it may be contributing to the itching! Check in the hygiene and skin care products for a product that is fragrance free and hypoallergenic. Something like Basis, Cetaphil or Neutragena comes to mind.
My egfr scotes over the last 7 years have fluctuated between 48 and 75. Ogten 55 plus.
Just had my first c statin result. 34
That was scary.
I guess they are averaged together This puts me much lower than i am used to and makes for worry
@siosal what kind of provider are you using to order these tests? Have you asked that person to interpret and explain them to you? Please remember that the overall trend maters more than any one particular test.

Rheumatology, nephrology, endocrinology, cardiology etc.
they do a great job for me. They don't go into extreme detail when it comes to lab tests!
The cystatin test was new to me and came in so much lower than egfr.
