Hyperthyroidism related thyroid eye disease and memory loss

I was hoping to find a support group for my sister who was diognosed with hyperthyroidism 2 years ago and subsequently, Graves’ disease/TED…she is 78 has had a prism placed in glasses for double vision but has had little relief. Dr. Had mentioned Tepezza but then suggested Ed the side effects were not worth it. Literature on hyperthyroidism suggested that short term memory loss can be a result. Am wondering if this ever improves after hormone levels have been corrected with prescription Metamazole. Thank you for your thoughts.
