How to boil water using Instapot/Instant Pot
Hi -- I have been reading all of the health hazards of gas stoves and would like to start boiling my water using an instant pot which I have but never use. I have tried googling how you boil water for 10 minutes using the Instant Pot but can't find anything. Can anyone tell me how exactly you do this -- which settings/buttons etc? Thanks so much!

I use the saute setting. (After burning up one Aerobika boiling on the stove, I changed to this. Sure does make life easier!)
Do you use that setting covered or uncovered?
covered with a glass lid that I bought separately.....not sure why, but that was recommended to me.....
Me too!
Anything requiring boiling, I use the saute setting on 'high' with my glass lid.
Works great.
I switched to an electric stove! So glad I did.
What are risks of gas stoves?
The emissions are not good for anyone but particularly people with respiratory issues.

In our house it was made worse by the fact that we could not vent to the outside. Anyway it took some effort and expense to switch to electric but it is so much better for our air quality and health and I even prefer cooking on it now.
