Hello folks. I have an upcoming bronchoscopy with bal. Will it be safe to get on plane day after the procedure? If not, minimal how many days should I wait? Thank you

@maliko

Did you have any side effects or symptoms after the procedure? How did you feel for next couple of days? Thanks

He is on vacation unfortunately and I have to book a flight . Considering it's holiday season I don't want to wait too long and not get a flight. I have to fly interisland (Hawaii) to get my bronchoscpy done.

While I was at NJH I did have the bronchoscope and if I am not mistaken he did get a biopsy for testing for MAC. That was on a Friday, had the weekend in Denver and left on Tuesday....We drove to and from OKC to Denver...so obviously I did not fly.
For me.......and we are all different, I was not tired and fatigued. I was lucky because that was one of the last tests they performed on my lungs etc. and still not tired or fatigued.
Again, we are all different in many ways and things will always affect us differently.
Wanting all to go smoothly and effortlessly for you. Let us know how it all goes for you.

I was very tired. Took a 3 hour nap after the procedure. No side effects.
