How long does it take for you to move without pain and stiffness in a.

I am new to PMR in the last couple months. I want to know how long it takes for others to loosen up in the a.m. I find it takes me 3-4 hours on average after I take my Prednisone. Is that normal or is my inflammation still acting up?

On average it takes me four to five hours to feel any respite from the stiffness especially in my upper arms and shoulders

That sounds like my experience. Every morning is dreadful. By the afternoon I still have pains but they are tolerable. I’m on 12 mg prednisone and started at 20 mg in September 2023. I’ve never been without pain and am now considering Kevzara.
