How far can you walk or should you walk??

several people have seen me in the local shopping centre walking the length of it , ( with a walker) and are shocked, do they realise I am on medications, do they realise i can be hurting but need the exercise? Do they realise how ( like so many situations now ) I push myself to do it??

I love the country. I'm in West templeton near Paso Robles. I thnk it' s the nicest area in California. People don't care where you live, and what kind of car you drive.I have lived here on and off since I was 4 years old.

I can surely relate in some ways. Thanks for sharing your experience, you've encouraged me to just get out there and "Git'er done" myself ! No More Procrastinating ! Gonna get outta my jammies and try to look decent enough to go for a walk with my walker.
Wish I could be there with you and we could walk together, reminding ourselves that other people's opinions are not our business AND we could have a good ole' time!
You Take CARE of You - 'cause THEY ain't a gonna do it, fur sure!
Thanks again.

Walk!! Use your body!! Apparently the same judgemental busybodies live in your neighborhood as mine—whether we trigger guilt as their failed exercise plans or remind them of their own mortality, who cares? I’ve gone from competitive distance running to walking with a walker (try the 3-wheeler!) with my dog & now walk so slowly I’m practically still—I’d rather be the crazy walking lady than the sad, bedridden lady. Keep moving & be proud of your determination.
