How to find a doctor to order you enough ostomy supplies?

I used a one use ostomy pouch once and that was once too many times. I use one that you can empty yourself when it needs to be emptied. I may have the same pouch on for a week. If and when you have diarrhea the pouch needs to be emptied as fast as you can get to the bathroom. When you do have diarrhea you need to find out why. Was it because you ate something your body doesn't like? So you can't have it again. If you are having diarrhea every time you empty your pouch, call your Ostomy Nurse as fast as you can. Doctors don't usually have an ostomy, they only know how to put them in. An Ostomy Nurse may have their own ostomy and has dealt with it for years. Anyone who receives an ostomy needs to go home with more information than they can read in a day. Read it all! Don't forget about it. If you can't read or don't understand what it says. Have everyone you see read it to you. You need to be very will educated about ostomies and how to order the supplies, so you don't have to pay the high prices.
