Has anyone with a colostomy had EGD with a bravo implant?

Posted by julia2025 @julia2025, Oct 26 7:26am

I have been reading here , and often find great help, so I am hoping for some help today. I have a history of rectal cancer and bowel blockages over the years, permanent colostomy in 2012., more blockages with surgery and less colon. My problem today concerns an egd procedure with bravo implant (this is suppose to easily pass thru the disgestive tract after a few days) , has anyone ever done this with so little colon?

thank you for all your input

@colleenyoung

Thank you Colleen for the information.
I opted out of the bravo, decided with risk was too great.

I appreciate your time and everyone here, this has been full of valuable , often first hand information..

Good health to all!
