Vomiting weeks after hiatal hernia surgery. Anyone else? Why?

June 3rd I had fundiplication hernia along with
Ventral hernia repair and removal of the gallbladder. Last week or so hours after I eat a small I’m throwing up. Anyone going through this any idea why?

Thank you. Yesterday was a good day I managed to eat 2 small meals bland. I did well.

Is it a problem having gall bladder removed that can cause this…doesn’t the gall-bladder influence digestion, so the body has to slowly adjust with very careful eating of small amounts of soft/mild foods ?

Dr didn’t even think so. I have friend who last Oct had his removed told him no restrictions on diet, mine just said liquids first 2wks, mush foods 1wk I sb able to eat normal afterwards.

Sorry to hear you are still not well!
I have a hiatal hernia, for years, have not had surgery. Also have had Barrett’s! The ER is called an emergency room .. for emergency’s!
Sounds like your case over a month after surgery, still vomiting, YOU have an emergency! .. it sounds very serious! It could cause you other major illness! I’m 80 yrs old, been in and out of hospitals and surgeries in my life! Please see an ER, they have experienced doctors or they will find you one!
