Hemiplegia on left side after stroke. Purple color

Stroke left side Hemiplegia and hand and foot turn purple when dependent. Has anyone else experienced this? Doctors don’t seem very concerned.

I'm new here and late to this thread, but after my stroke, my affected hand looked like an eggplant for a few months. Pretty gross looking, but it cleared up eventually.

My son’s foot is always purple when he stands. The doctors don’t seem too concerned, but I know it’s not normal. It’s normal looking when he’s laying in bed. Thanks for commenting!
