Welcome @selima109. You said you have an enlarged heart. And you have had heart stents. I'm sorry to hear that you are under a lot of stress lately. Can you tell me a bit more about you?

I had stents in April also found out I had cardiomyopathy
A year ago I do have good heart doctor now
Treating for both
I am going to cardiac rehab
Every thing new to me .
My guy friend i love died two weeks ago been together 17
It was his home
Now I have to move in month try to find a place
Lots of stress I do still have some chest pains
I be ok

I am sorry about your recent loss and the stress of also trying to find a place to move.

I have two nephews with the genetic version of the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The oldest was fainting in 8th grade before he was diagnosed. His first open heart surgery they put in a pacemaker that also defibrillates when he has a bad cardiac rhythm (Atrial Fibrillation). He is an adult now, but after his 5 open heart surgeries, there is nothing more except for trying to slow things down with medications.

Support of friends and family is very helpful, or if you find a support group.

I am looking for an online support group for my nephew that combines a heart problem and depression. He is not on hospice yet, but regular people with depression cannot relate to him or he just doesn’t want to share assuming no one else had cardiac issues.
I wish you the best of luck with everything, and definitely find those who are supportive of you psychologically and the people you trust for support!
