Healthy Bones Company

I am 79 with osteopenia per last DEXA scan. I have rejected all doctor pressure to take bone meds. Side effects scare me with all my other medical problems. I am taking now bone supplements made by Healthy Bones Company. Has anyone tried them and had better bone density result? There are many reviews from ladies who say they helped unless they are just a scam. Their website is on the internet.

Yes I took the Heathy Bones Co. collagen peptides with Fortibone. I have now added OsteoElements Pro for a better absorption of calcium. It replaces the calcium and vitamin D that I was taking.

@queenie2030 I just began taking the Fortifone. Due to your positive review I will not get it on automatic delivery. So glad to hear this has worked so well for you. I don't take D due to blood level is in the mid 60's and endocrinologist said to not take vitamin D. I was a sun worshipper when younger and my skin stays permanently tan so I think this why my D levels are so high..

I have osteopenia as well. Can you share which supplements you tried? Thanks.

@rettus360 I take Healthy Bones Co. Collagen Peptide with Fortibone and Osteo Elements Pro which replaces the Citracal with vitamin D that I previously took. OsteoElememts contains several other things that assist in absorption of the calcium. After over 5 years on prednisone at age 79 I am very pleased to have a normal DEXA scan once again.

@2buddy if the automatic ship is too soon for you they allow you to pause for a month whenever you want. I find them very easy to work with.

@queenie2030 Thank you for this info. Congrats on having a normal DEXA scan! I had a stress fracture in my foot that reoccured over a year later. That prompted the scans. Did you work with anyone at Healthy Bones to help select these supplements? I am curious as to how the citracal helped?

@queenie2030 Thank you. Do you get yours through Amazon or other source? I got mine first bag on Amazon.

I got my first collagen Healthy Bones from Amazon. Then I visited the Healthy Bones Co website and found that their collagen there contains 3 extra ingredients. So I now get it from the website. I think it is superior to the one on Amazon and more expensive. I have not joined the Healthy Bones personalized program but did chat via the site with someone about my choices. They were helpful. Ultimately I chose what I thought best. I like that they don’t source ingredients from China, just a few from Germany which has high standards on ingredients. All supplements are a gamble but these work for me.

The video is incredible. It is an acquired taste for sure, though the only way I can tolerate the slime is with a hot mustard. I'm curious as to how you found natto - online health benefits or by a alternative health practitioner? Thank you for sending this helpful info!

@rettus360
Decades ago I tried various items in an Asian grocery and frozen natto was one of them. I did research after that to make my own with using the frozen natto as a starter. It is a cultural adventure with a nutritional benefit.
