Have MAC A —-Maybe on Arikayce??

I apologize I’m kind of a rambler but here goes
Also—-wondered if anybody else had this occurrence———My Situation——-FYI—(I am on Arikayce, ethambutol,Zithromax,Colfazamine) JIt When I have a productive cough and it’s happening fairly often , I have clear sputum with small Pencil eraser size Pink roundish spots .

I’m wondering could the pink dots be the Mac I have? is that characteristic? I’ve had abscesses Abscessus before and I don’t think that it manifests itself like this? Can anyone offer any relation to this? I don’t think it’s blood because I do have s1

@judyhodgern Judy - I don't think you're seeing MAC, which is microscopic, but I do believe you may be seeing a bit of blood, highly diluted, in your sputum. In your situation, I would probably call my pulmonologist and ask if they want me to catch a bit in a specimin cup and bring it in for a look.

I also see a spot every now and then. I thought it was my food that I coughed up?
