1 ReactionI know only too well how chronic gastric issues can make life miserable.
So let me ask you some questions (for your own self-reflection):
How's your home life? Are you at peace?
Do you have a good social circle? Some friends, buddies, etc.?
Anything happen two years ago that has a lasting effect? A romantic breakup, other big emotional loss?
I see you're 18. Are you stressed about starting college?
Are you getting enough exercise? Please tell me you aren't spending all your time staring at a phone.
How's your diet? Garbage in, garbage out. You can get away with a lot when you're young, but you'll pay for it later. (I should know.)
What do you do for fun? What are your hobbies?
Having a sense of purpose is important. What are you doing to improve the lives of people around you?
The mind can play havoc with the body. I bet that if you increase the peace in your life, you'll feel better.
Just so you know, I became permanently disabled more than seven years ago. I'm not letting it stop me; I'm using my experiences to reach out to help others via YouTube:

4 ReactionsNot sure where you live but around where I live unexplained digestive issues are now becoming first tested for Alpha Gal a tick borne disease caused by chiggers and Lone Star Ticks. It's a simple blood test any Dr. can perform. You might want ot look up Alpha Gal and see if anything there resonates with you and what you are experiencing, in any event good luck and I hope you find out what it going on so you can address it and get back to living a nice fun young life 🙂

3 Reactions@deevon Diet and stress are two major drivers of gastrointestinal issues.
Have you tried eliminating foods and drinks to see what is causing your issues? First, eliminate ALL energy drinks, coffee, soda (including diet) as well as any smokes, vapes, gummies, etc.
With the recent exacerbation, has anyone suggested that you give your digestive system 3 days of rest, then introduce food very slowly, sticking with bland low fiber, low sugar diet at first? Drink plenty of plain water! I suggest clear fruit juices, bland crackers to start. If you tolerate that, add some pasta or rice with mild seasoning, and a little easy to digest protein like skinless chicken or an egg. That's good? Add some plain yogurt (sweeten with a little honey or seedless jelly, avoid the "low sugar" ones that might have artificial sweeteners) or cottage cheese, apple sauce...
Continue to add one or two more foods every day or two to see how it goes. If anything causes upset, stop it.
Here's the no-go list until you feel better - fried foods (including chips), pizza, spicy foods, fatty meats.
If you feel weak/yucky from the diarrhea, an electrolyte drink like Pedialyte can help get your body chemicals back in balance, but avoid the post-sport drinks loaded with sugar and unpronounceable ingredients.
Do you have an adult in your life to help you navigate this tough situation?

1 Reaction@scottrl thank you so much and well yea I work out 5 days a week and try to get good sleep and try to eat clean. And I try not to stay on the phone all day and try to be productive. It’s not perfect but I do try tho. My social circle isn’t too wide but I do have some people that I can talk with and I try to stay focus.
