Have any Military Veterans received service connection for Meningioma?

Eighteen years ago I spent a year living on a combat outpost beside a burn pit in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. I had a 3cm Meningioma removed because it was interfering with my life. I promptly filed for VA benefits but was denied. Have any Military Veterans here had any luck being service connected for a Meningioma?

Fortunately here in California the secretary of veterans affairs is a real physician. He does push for appropriate care and works with the local Medicare director to get state of the art care to our vets!
