Has Scoliosis Worsened While on Osteo Meds

Hi, I finished Evenity and had one dose of Reclast. Was on Fossomax some years ago.This may be coincidental, but my scoliosis is much worse. It wasn't checked for some years, so maybe it happened w/o my noticing. But, wondering if anyone has had worsened scoliosis since starting osteo meds.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis last summer. I was told the curve would worsen by 3% annually.

I don't think it's related to the medications, just to aging and degradation of the spine. It's an uphill battle to combat progression. You might seek out a physical therapist certified in the Scroth method that specifically addresses scoliosis.

I agree with teb. My scoliosis has gotten worse as I've aged. However, physical therapy and Pilates have helped with core strength and avoidance of the painful side effects of scoliosis.

I don't believe my scoliosis has gotten that much worse since it was diagnosed at age 14; I just turned 80. My spine continues to look like a C-clamp but haven't had any noticeable fractures. The endocrinologist tells me the good spinal bone density numbers there are worthless; a definite bummer.
