Is anyone with NIMBC receiving Gemzar also on Wegovy (GLP-1)?

I’m curious about two things. I am receiving GEMZAR for non-invasive platy cancer. I was told it was OK to get my hair dyed and also that it was OK if I went on Wegovy.. I’m wondering what your thoughts are on hair dye and Wegovy. My dr says its ok but I am not sure

@dianeoh26, another member of your cancer team is your pharmacist. I suggest you talk to your pharmacist about drug interactions and even about potential risks with hair dye.

Have you started treatment with gemcitabine (Gemzar)? How are you doing?

Yes, i did the 6 weeks of Gemzar and now on a monthly schedule for one year. Dr said both hair dye and going on Wegovey was fine but everything I have read said to hold off doing both until treatment ends. I am a bit confused but will listen to the dr for now
