@solobeee1 Octagam did not work for me. I was on IVIG from age 10-18. There is more than 10 brands. The subcutaneous IVIG does not work as well on CAN according to the electrophsiologist.
@solobeee1 We might be looking at economics here. I think Octogam is the cheapest and the choice may be made by the insurance and the infusion center. I would be interested in what you find out.
Yes I did. This was in probably 2016. I was seeing a specialist at The University of Chicago who recommended it and thought it would cure it or at the very least stop the progression. I did them for a year without any improvement. At the time they believed that my SFN was due to an autoimmune disease but they now think it’s idiopathic. Maybe if it had been from autoimmune disease it would have helped.
I’m 82 & it has not progressed into Large Fibre. I ride my EBIKE 3-4 times a week ~ keep the circulation going & continue to look for supplements that are not snake oil.
@solobeee1
I just researched a bit & found that there are 10 different brands of IVIG. I’ll try & find out if one is better for neuropathy.

If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you and has it progressed into large fiber?

No I don’t have large fiber thankfully! I just turned 60 a few weeks ago. I think it was about 10 years ago that I had the infusions.
